Traveling to Prague with two kiddos under the age of 5, we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit the 4th best zoo in the world. Seriously, the zoo was amazing!
Before hopping on the metro, we decided to have breakfast at Starbucks—the first time in nearly 2 years. Although we truly prefer the way Italians do coffee culture, it was a lot of fun to enjoy the Starbucks experience like we used to back in the States.
Now the info on the zoo. It’s laid out beautifully with hardly any obstructions of your view of the animals and the habitats for each animal is perfectly designed and looks like a natural setting. At every exhibit, we were able to see each animal. We saw lions, tigers, polar bears, oh my !….leopards, penguins, hippos, alligators, snakes, turtles, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and on and on. Not sure that we have ever been to the zoo and seen every animal they have there!
For lunch, we ate under some umbrellas overlooking an amazing view of the city. We ate rye bread and kiełbasa sausages. Neil enjoyed an RC Cola in honor of his dad’s favorite soda. The weather was perfect—slightly overcast with clouds and thankfully it wasn’t too hot.
The kids absolutely loved spending the whole day at the zoo and like we said it was an amazing zoo. If you are ever in Prague, take the time to spend the day at this zoo—it’s definitely worth it.
