A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Our dear pastor lost his wife to cancer a year ago and we wanted to do something to honor her life and honor her family and friends. We chose to have a night of remembering her life where everyone brought something to share—a photo, a story, a letter, or a memory to tell.

We are so blessed to be working with the evangelical church of Primavalle. They have welcomed us like family these past eight months of living life here. Our dear pastor lost his wife to cancer a year ago and we wanted to do something to honor her life and honor her family and friends. We chose to have a night of remembering her life where everyone brought something to share—a photo, a story, a letter, or a memory to tell. Everyone also brought a food dish that was something she liked or that was a recipe of hers. On this special night or fellowship, we learned that she was a woman of vibrance, laughter, and compassion. She followed Christ with passion and zeal and when she faced the difficulty of the brutal disease of cancer, her faith did not waver. We didn’t have the privilege to know Patrizia in this life, but she was obviously an amazing woman and because we also have eternal life in Christ also, we look forward to meeting her some day.
